So...yeah. I haven't died yet! I've just been...preoccupied...with zOMG.
And now for the credits and all that jazz~

And yes, I know Akki's wings are too big. I had tried to draw them average-sized, but the science geek in me was complaining and so I took some artistic liberties.
Though, technically, he wouldn't be able to fly even with those wings unless he had the strongest spine in the world or there was magic involved...*cough cough*

Whoo. Contest's over.
Turns out I didn't place in anything, or even get an honorable mention. *tries not to be bitter*
:XD: I suppose if nothing else I got some practice with different forms of lighting. Yay me~

hurr too bad I know absolutely NOTHING about Frank Sinatra besides the facts that he sang songs, had a wife named Eve, and that my bird was named after him. Maybe if I did I'd be able to appreciate how it expresses the emotion and heart of the song through the art, but I guess you'd just have to settle with me commenting on how awesome I think it looks, and how much I want to stab a rusty screw into your brow for being better than I am at art. :heart:
